Laser Therapy

Laser therapy uses a focused beam of light to carefully target certain tissues. In gum disease, laser therapy works by selectively targeting the harmful bacteria in the periodontal pockets and removing the infected inner lining of the pocket to allow for new attachment and pocket reduction. Additionally, lasers can stimulate the growth of new blood vessels and collagen, which can help to promote healing and repair of damaged tissue.
